Ave Pildas began self-publishing his Small Books series in 2015 with El Sereno Graphics with the goal of dispersing his printed photography to his audience in an accessible manner. Each Small Book contains ten images from each of Ave’s long-term series, and an essay from a relevant critic, all in a lightweight, paperback, 9 x 6″ edition.
